During our recent deployment, we encountered several technical issues that we need to address:
When I entered the ARway app, a problem occurred that prevented me from using it for a while.
I couldn't see the new paths deployed in the ARway app; it only showed the default orange arrow.
In our app developed using the ARway SDK, we encountered an issue and need clarification on why this is happening.
Please look into these matters and provide guidance on how to resolve them.
Best regards,
Yazan Al-Alawi - COO at Walkk.
Hello Yazan Al-Alawi,
Regarding your issues:
This pop-up occurs when your internet connection is unstable and unable to connect to ARway. Please ensure that the device is connected to the internet.
The map visitor and the location pin must both be within a couple of meters of a path; otherwise, the navigation will default to the arrow style and point directly to the destination. To resolve this, you can draw additional paths in the Creator Portal within a couple of meters of access points, location pins, and around areas where people will travel. Here is a link to the full platform tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEwxHlJeK64
The issue occurring in the SDK is most likely due to two things. First, a valid account ID and secret key need to be added to the SDK as mentioned here: ARway SDK Documentation. Second, the device might be in an area with no internet connection. The device and app must be connected to the internet to function.
I hope this helps!
