When I import the objects in gbl format, the original textures and edges are lost and they look white or very bad. I am exporting the objects from Sketchup. Please let me know if there is a special procedure to solve this or if you recommend any software or 3D gallery from where I can obtain 3D objects (mostly furniture).

Hi Felipe,
In the SketchUp screenshot, it appears that the software is applying an "outline" to the 3D model, which did not persist on export. If you open the 3D model in any other editor, you will notice that the model does not have that outline as seen in your SketchUp screenshot.
The reason it is so bright in the real world is that the model is affected by real-world lighting, making it look flat. If you open the model in a 3D viewer (such as the built-in Windows 3D Viewer), you will see that the model also appears white and flat. So, the model does not appear to work well for augmented reality due to its reliance on specific lighting available only in the SketchUp editor, most likely due to the material settings.
If you are looking to purchase 3D models for things like furniture, I would recommend ARitize3D, as they can create 3D models for eCommerce stores.
If you're looking for pre-made models, you can purchase 3D models from places such as SketchFab, TurboSquid, and CGTrader. When looking for models, you should look for the following features: ensure the model size is below 10MB in .glb format (low poly count) and that the models are augmented reality-ready and work well in AR.
